Hey guys and gals!!  In case you missed it on the Daily 10yesterday, here is my interview with uber talented singer/songwriter Matt Morris.  I had a great time getting to know Matt at the Gibson show room in Los Angeles.

hanging with Matt Morris

He is a kind soul who really wants to impact the world through his beautiful music.  Its all about the positive energy and putting out meaningful messages!  Pick up his debut disc When Everything Breaks Opens, now.

Hey dolls!!

I hope you are enjoying my new site!  I absolutely LOVE it!  Please leave comments and let me knowwhat you think.  If you don’t like something I wanna hear that too.  Constructive criticism never hurt anyone.

On set with Sal Masekela

As many of you know, I’ve had the honor of co-hosting E!’s the Daily 10 a few times this

On set with Catt Sadler

month.  I’ve been fortunate enough to work alongside both Catt Sadler and Sal Masekela.  They are both such amazing gracious people.  I’ve felt so comfortable next to these pros simply because they are truly fun people.  Its easy to have chemistry with chill peeps as down to earth as Catt and Sal.  It’s been exciting and humbling for me to be thrown into the fire and hold my own with them.   The flow of the show is different than E! News Now and has been a fun challenge for me.  Its taped as ‘live’ as possible, meaning they keep shooting until someone mess up and need to go again.  That gives the show that really loose vibe.  It’s really a dream to be on the D-10 and I’m just thrilled to have this chance!  On top of that, the CLOTHES are to die for!!! Its a fashionistas dream!

Me and Matt Morris

I’ve also had the pleasure of going out in the field to

Me and Avril

interview musicians Matt Morris and Avril Lavigne.  Matt is a phenomenal talent.  If you don’t know him, get familiar.  He has an incredible voice and I was lucky to have a private concert from him.  He is signed to Justin Timberlake’s Tennman record label.  His debut disc When Everything Breaks Open is avail now.

I also got to chat with Miss Lavigne about her new Alice inspired clothing line.  She’s a cool chick but a bit more guarded than Matt.  I hope he hangs on to that genuineness, Avril’s been around a while so she’s just more careful with what she says.  No Brody dish here 😉

I’ve been told that my interviews with both Avril Lavigne and Matt Morris will air on Thursday February 25th.  Tune in to see a preview of Avril’s new clothing line inspired by the upcoming film Alice in Wonderland and to find out what’s next for newcomer Matt Morris.

Well I’ve got some more good news!  Looks like I’ll be back hosting the show Monday March 1st!  Be sure to tune in to check out all the latest celeb dish!   Airs 7:30/6:30 central.  Check my twitter for official confirmation as I am not 100% I’m on that day, but I have been told my services are needed!

Youth Run 4 Haiti

Posted by | Amy Paffrath, Appearances, Uncategorized | No Comments

I’m sure you are all well aware of the aftermath of the devastating 7.0 earthquake that rocked Haiti on January 12th.  The damage and loss of life was immense and is no where close to being restored.  There are so many ways to get involved and lend a helping hand.  We cannot simply sit back and do nothing.  When people are hurting and in need, we must help them.  One way I got involved was with an event hosted by Josh Duhamel called Youth Run 4 Haiti.  It was a 2 mile beach run in Santa Monica.  Held in conjunction with the Red Cross, participants were asked to donate $10 to be part of the event.  There was huge turn out.  More than 3000 people turned up to run for Haiti.  That’s over $30000!  I figured, I am lucky to be able bodied and this is just one small symbolic gesture to raise awareness and money for a cause in dire need of attention right now.

I was joined by Drew Seeley, Matt Kemp, Gregg Sulkin, Olesya Rulin, Molly Sims and of course the host Josh Duhamel.  Find out how YOU can help and do something, big or small.  Funds are tight for everyone, but realize that the people in Haiti have nothing.  We have so much to be thankful for.  You get what you give, so give generously. Check out Red Cross, Mercy Corps or Youth Run 4 Haiti for ways to get involved.
