Amy at Ian Somerhalder’s Influence Affair

I am never one to turn down a party.  Especially in the name of charity.  When I got the invite to Ian Somerhalder’s Influence Affair, I was intrigued.  I was unfamiliar with Ian’s dedication to changing consumerism and conserving our planet.  It turns out he isn’t just a guy putting his face on a campaign.  HE is running the show.  His efforts are not only admirable, they are inspiring.  It reminds me that there is always more we can do!  As if the cause wasn’t enough on its own, Ian threw a great party.  We spend the night dining and mingling under the stars in the backyard of a gorgeous Bel Air home.  It didn’t hurt that the lovely Meredith Adams served as my date.  She’s always a good time.  Read all about the event here.

Here’s an interview I did for the Red Carpet Report with the lovely JJ Snyder.

We streamed live from the big event bringing interviews with the cast and crew to fans around the world!  Check out some black carpet photos as well as a snippet of my dance lesson with Jack Quaid.  May the odds be ever in your favor!

Amy out and about

Okay so it’s no secret I’m not a huge fast food junkie.  Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy the taste of it.  I just can’t eat it often if I want to maintain my girlish figure.  However, I got the chance to celebrate the launch of McDonald’s new Chicken McBites where Salt ‘n Peppa were set to perform and I jumped on the opportunity!  I ate quite a few boxes of those tasty little nugs but hey, you burn ‘em off dancing to throwback 90′s tunes!

Ya’ll know I have a soft spot for children’s charities and anytime I can lend a hand, I will.  It was really cool to attend Lights, Camera, Cure a 48 hour dance marathon that benefited The Four Diamonds Fund, which provides financial support for families fighting against pediatric cancer.  It was a jubilant day of dancing and mingling.  Though I didn’t win the diamond ring I bid on at the silent auction (happy I was outbid, that’s good for the charity!) I had a great time shakin’ my groove thang along with countless thousands all in the name of helping others.
