I’m big on all natural beauty products. I mean, I am the spokes model for Sibu Beauty after all. They are dedicated to all natural goodness! When I me Jessica Kernochan, who created the paraben free line LaLicious in her kitchen as Christmas gifts in 2002, I immediately connected to her drive and resilience and over all amaze at her “dumb luck” of realizing a dream. (Its not luck at all, its hard work.) I had a great time with my friends whom I’ve had the pleasure of meeting through various acting classes and best men’s girlfriends. They would be Melissa Paul, Aphrodite Camello and Mona Mira. We all fell in love with LaLicious’s Sugar Souffle Scrub. Try it for yourself, its heavenly!

My friend Robert has been telling me about the Thirst Project for a while now. I’ve taken an interest in the organization but with my loyalties to other charities like the ALS Association, ChildHelp and The Art of Elysium, I didn’t know how I could realistically make time for a new one. Then I was lucky enough to receive an invitation to the 3rd Annual Thirst Gala. It was that night that I figured out just how I could lend my support. My party pal Meredith Adams and I were seated by our gorgeous friend Cassie Scerbo whom we first met at the Ian Somerhalder Influence Affair. Also at our table, Ryan Lee from Super 8 and Geno Segers whom I had the pleasure of interviewing on MSN’s Last Night on TV. Sitting there with all of those friendly familiar, yet famous faces felt like nothing less than a stroke of fate. The show began with a dazzling opening number performed by local high school students, who are the very kids who started this global mission. It soon became apparent this was not your average charity event. It was interesting, engaging, and full of information. Cassie, Ryan and I were so moved by the presentation we decided to band together and donate $1000 to building a well in Uganda! We learned how simple, easy and affordable it was to get an entire village access to clean drinking water. How could we NOT help? Even though we are living in trying times, those of us living in a first world country are beyond blessed with the conveniences of modern life. We have to take the time to think of those who don’t have the basic human rights we often take for granted. To learn more about how YOU can help end the worlds water crisis, check out the Thirst Project.
Ah the perks of being MTV “talent”! What a fun night. I had a great time getting to know Jeff Dye, star of Money from Strangers and Andrew Santino star of the new PUNK’D. Plus I got to catch up with my girls Taryn Southern and Tiffany Smith. It was an amazing event and I even made a best dressed list! Check it out here.
Thanks to Just Jared Jr for including me in their post too!

I am never one to turn down a party. Especially in the name of charity. When I got the invite to Ian Somerhalder’s Influence Affair, I was intrigued. I was unfamiliar with Ian’s dedication to changing consumerism and conserving our planet. It turns out he isn’t just a guy putting his face on a campaign. HE is running the show. His efforts are not only admirable, they are inspiring. It reminds me that there is always more we can do! As if the cause wasn’t enough on its own, Ian threw a great party. We spend the night dining and mingling under the stars in the backyard of a gorgeous Bel Air home. It didn’t hurt that the lovely Meredith Adams served as my date. She’s always a good time. Read all about the event here.
Here’s an interview I did for the Red Carpet Report with the lovely JJ Snyder.

Happy Hunger Games! Who’s excited for the film?? You should be, because it’s AMAZING! I had the pleasure of covering the world premiere of the highly anticipated film for Yahoo! Movies.
We streamed live from the big event bringing interviews with the cast and crew to fans around the world! Check out some black carpet photos as well as a snippet of my dance lesson with Jack Quaid. May the odds be ever in your favor!

Okay so it’s no secret I’m not a huge fast food junkie. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy the taste of it. I just can’t eat it often if I want to maintain my girlish figure. However, I got the chance to celebrate the launch of McDonald’s new Chicken McBites where Salt ‘n Peppa were set to perform and I jumped on the opportunity! I ate quite a few boxes of those tasty little nugs but hey, you burn ’em off dancing to throwback 90’s tunes!
Ya’ll know I have a soft spot for children’s charities and anytime I can lend a hand, I will. It was really cool to attend Lights, Camera, Cure a 48 hour dance marathon that benefited The Four Diamonds Fund, which provides financial support for families fighting against pediatric cancer. It was a jubilant day of dancing and mingling. Though I didn’t win the diamond ring I bid on at the silent auction (happy I was outbid, that’s good for the charity!) I had a great time shakin’ my groove thang along with countless thousands all in the name of helping others.
As Trophy Girl for the 5th Annual Hamilton Behind the Camera Awards, it was my honor to present awards to the finest in the entertainment business. The honorees included stunt men, costume designers, prop masters and special effects editors. Anyone who works in TV and Film knows how essential these jobs are. It’s wonderful that Hamilton honors these well respected professionals who rarely get their moment to shine publicly.
Among the presenters were JJ Abrams, Jon Favreau, Michael Bay, Robert Pattinson, Harrison Ford, Jon Hamm and Antonio Banderas. As you can see, I was truly in the presence of greatness. Many of the names listed above don’t particularly enjoy going to red carpet events but they made it a point to be there to honor their talented crew members.
The night was hosted by the dashing Isaiah Mustafa, aka the Old Spice guy. It was an evening of Hollywood royalty that I was thrilled to be a part of.
